The hazard

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the main chassis wiring harness may be located too close to the exhaust manifold. As a result, the harness could melt. If this happens, the engine could stall while driving. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your motorhome to a dealer to inspect the main chassis wiring harness and secure it away from the exhaust manifold. The dealer will replace the wiring harness if it is damaged.
